The Trion 707U Herrmidifier atomizing humidifier system is for walk-in cigar humidors, or other applications, up to 3000 cubic feet and is designed to connect directly to a water source. The 707U operates on the principles of atomization and evaporation by dispersing a fine mist directly into the air. A rotating impeller pulls water from a small reservoir, forces it through several small holes at the top of the impeller shaft, then through a defusing screen. This process causes the water to break into smaller and smaller droplets, which are subsequently discharged from the unit. After the atomized water has exited the unit, it evaporates, and raises the relative humidity of the air. The 707U has a dial humidistat control, that once set, will turns the unit on when below the set point, and off once the set point is reached.
